Tube Exchanger

The Bougie or Tube Exchanger is a flexible and semi-rigid introducer designed to facilitate endotracheal intubation in patients with a difficult or complicated airway.

It is used as a guide over which the endotracheal tube is advanced, either blindly or under laryngoscopic visualization.

Features:

• Material: Semi-rigid, durable polymer compatible with the airway. Disposable, latex-free, and radiopaque.
• Length: 60 – 80 cm (adult), also available in pediatric version.
• Outer Diameter: Various sizes to match different endotracheal tube calibers.
• Distal Tip: Angled (Coudé) to facilitate tracheal entry. Straight version also available.
• Smooth, Lubricated Surface: Enables easy advancement and reduces trauma.
