Hemostatic System
iTClamp
The iTClamp® is an emergency mechanical hemostatic wound-clamping device designed to control severe bleeding within seconds.
Virtually painless, the iTClamp® seals the wound, creating localized, hands-free pressure that rapidly forms a stable clot and prevents further blood loss.
Application of the iTClamp® is intuitive and easy, enabling the immediate treatment of life-threatening hemorrhage in situations where a tourniquet cannot be applied.
The iTClamp® has been approved by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and is included in the Hemorrhage Control Guidelines for medical personnel.
Features:
- Less painful than a standard tourniquet after placement
- Material: medical-grade polycarbonate and 304 stainless steel
- Intuitive and easy to apply
- Indicated for junctional areas (neck, axilla, groin) and scalp
- Suitable for extremities (arms and legs)

iTClamp transforms an open bleeding wound into a closed space in which the formed clot creates pressure that inhibits bleeding.

Maintains distal arterial flow of the partially injured artery, preventing tissue ischemia and allowing more time for definitive surgical repair.

- Less pain after placement than a standard tourniquet
- Areas where limbs join (neck, armpit, groin) and scalp.
- Extremities (legs and arms)
