New X-Collar

The X-Collar's simple audible and tactile closure system is fitted in 3 steps and adapts to any size and weight (from 10 kg to 170 kg).

Eliminates the possibility of unwanted traction (cervical distraction injury) described in other devices that are pre-adjusted before placement based on indirect measurements with the palm of the hand.

Characteristics

EMS Flow: Compatible with CPR maneuvers and other rescue procedures (extraction devices, rescue basket, spinal column, scup board, vacuum mattress, etc.).
Material: High-density polyethylene with foam inside and atraumatic edges, hypoallergenic and transparent.
Latex free.
Radiolucent and compatible with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT).
Tested at extreme temperatures; -40ºC to 60ºC.

X-Collar is the only system for use in both adults (approx. 170 kg) and pediatrics (approx. 10 kg).

Allows cervical immobilization in “found position”
