The metaverse is a shared virtual space where people can interact with each other and with digital objects in real time. The virtual universe has arrived at Simuvad 2023 , the 7th Clinical Simulation Course on Safe Airway Management , which features the novelty of the first anesthesia course in the metaverse.

Simuvad, organized by La Paz University Hospital , is an international meeting featuring various experts in airway management and clinical simulation, in which I ES Medical participates in several workshops and talks.

According to the organizers, " The effective and safe management of the airway represents a great responsibility within our profession and a challenge that anesthesiologists, intensivists and emergency physicians face every day, both in the hospital and outpatient setting. The morbidity and mortality associated with these patients requires us to receive specific training in the management of patients with difficult airways and to be up to date with the algorithms, techniques and intubation and ventilation devices available to us in order to successfully deal with these situations ."

Live workshops
