IES Medical Presents Its Latest Innovations for Emergency Response Teams at the 27th Madrid Municipal Disaster Management Conference

The new ZOLL Zenix monitor/defibrillator, the FlexTip® intubation guide in its foldable version, and the ultra-portable Ventway Sparrow® ventilator take centre stage at IES Medical’s participation in one of the leading events in the emergency response sector.

Madrid, October 2026. IES Medical participated in the 27th Madrid Municipal Disaster Management Conference, held on 23 and 24 October 2026 and organised by SAMUR-Protección Civil. The event brings together emergency medical services, civil protection and public safety professionals to share experiences, explore new solutions and improve responses to critical incidents.

At the event, IES Medical presented a selection of medical technology solutions designed to enhance pre-hospital patient care, with a particular focus on innovation, portability and adapting equipment to the needs of emergency response teams.

ZOLL Zenix: A New Generation of Monitoring and Defibrillation

One of the highlights of the presentation was the new ZOLL Zenix, an advanced professional monitor/defibrillator designed for critical patient care.

The device features an 8.4-inch high-resolution touchscreen, an intuitive interface and real-time feedback technologies such as Real CPR Help® and Real BVM Help®, which provide information on the quality of chest compressions and ventilation during resuscitation.

With ZOLL Zenix, IES Medical brings emergency professionals a new generation of technology designed to support clinical workflows and decision-making in demanding situations.

FlexTip®: Versatility for Emergency Response Backpacks

The FlexTip® steerable intubation guide attracted considerable interest, particularly in its foldable version, which facilitates storage and transport in rapid-response backpacks and emergency intervention kits.

Its flexible, steerable tip allows greater control during airway navigation and facilitates intubation procedures under both direct laryngoscopy and videolaryngoscopy.

Its foldable design addresses a specific need among emergency response teams: access to specialised equipment that takes up less space, is easy to carry and is ready for use when every second counts.

Ventway Sparrow®: Advanced Ventilation in Approximately One Kilogram

The third highlighted solution was Ventway Sparrow®, an ultra-lightweight turbine-driven mechanical ventilator weighing approximately one kilogram, designed to facilitate ventilation during patient transport and in emergency settings.

Its integrated turbine enables operation without relying on an external compressed-air supply, reducing equipment requirements and facilitating deployment across a range of clinical environments.

Combining low weight, a compact design and mechanical ventilation capabilities, Ventway Sparrow® is particularly well suited to ambulances, rescue operations and medical transport, where mobility and rapid deployment are essential.

Innovation in Support of Emergency Professionals

IES Medical’s participation in the conference reinforces its commitment to providing innovative medical technology tailored to the real-world needs of professionals working in critical situations.

“Our goal is to bring emergency teams solutions that deliver practical value in the field: advanced technology, ease of use and equipment designed to meet the demands of every intervention,” says IES Medical.

IES Medical would like to thank all the professionals who visited the company’s stand, discovered these solutions and shared their experiences throughout the event.
